Open lines-a state lawmaker says that if your in an accident while talking on your cell phone you are automatically guilty – in fact he’s proposing a bill that would make it the law! Is this really for the public safety or a backdoor way to ban cell phones while driving in Louisiana? Why not focus on the real problems facing our state, like the budget, crime, the Coast, education – is this just more ‘feel good’ legislation bogging down the process?
